I have exactly the same issue. It’s worth noting that the flashing dpf is a service indicator on Mazda 6 2011, guy at Mazda service centre told me that. And true to his word every 13000 or so miles I would get flashing dpf light. However 3-4 services ago, when the dpf light was reset it started flashing again within a mile or so of the garage. The mechanic ran diagnostics and he told me the timing chain had stretched and needed to be replaced. That could be the issue you are facing. My car has 237000 mikes on the clock and I must have done a good 50000 mikes with the flashing dpf. Car runs fine and so I have just decided to ignore it, my car although still driving like a dream just isn’t worth spending the money required to replace the timing chain which I am advised is around £750 - £1000. Yellow flashing light is annoying so I just put a black sticker over it, problem solved. Lol

Have you confirmed the version of the PCM or related software? Mazda releases new updates to module and sensor calibrations all the time. Perhaps you don't have a problem, the computer just thinks that you do.

Edit: When is the last time the car saw a dealer? Maybe the codes just need to be cleared.

I’ve done a forced Regen oil and filter change and injector calibration and still the lights flashing. Have just had the car motd and the emissions are fine. There is no lack of power and car starts as it always has . Does anyone know what could be wrong. Have I missed anything. Does the Regen oil change and calibration need to be done in order. Thanks

Sorry to jump on an old thread but I've got the same issue and nothing I am doing will stop the dpf light flashing. I am also in Bridgend and would love to have this specialists number/details if possible 🥺
