Default tyre valves

hi all,
im new to the forum and mazdas im looking into getting a mazda6 2.0 or 2.5 sport in 08-09 plates someone told me and ive read about the tyre valves corroding and blowing out!the posts ive read are old but i just want to make sure of wots happend about them and wether they have rectified the problem with them and made new ones that are safe!???

also i was told the 6 doesnt come with a spare wheel?is this true?and is there a hole in the boot to take a wheel if i was to buy one?

I'm in the uk.has no one come across this problem???.its a known fault and I would like to know if it has been sorted yet?.i know there has been a soft recall but I want to know if the replacement valves are good or just the same.

Well apparently 18 mths ago new valves with non corrosive alloy have been made and are changed at dealers if your on the recall list.they sound like they are still very brittle tho.

Weird, never heard of faulty tyre valves before.

Well it started 4 yr ago and was only recognised as a proper fault nearly 2 yrs ago!.dealers blamed everyone but themselves.its the tpms valves I'm on about.

New Zealand & Australia didn't have TPMS on any Mazda 6.
No wonder I was confused.
