Default Valves Claddering

Has anyone had the loud valve noise? I've taken it to the dealership once and they said they it was a recall and they adjusted them. One the way home (as they were closing), the valves starting claddering loud again. Since I don't live near a dealership, its hard to take it in. Any suggestions?

There is neither a recall or any adjustment on the valves willowoak. There is a TSB for ticking noise from left bank valve cover area (The one by the radiator ), but this noise is only noticeable when fully warmed up and at an idle. The repair involves removing the valve cover and repositioning the removing the intake camshaft caps and repositioning the #8 in particular. Is the noise really loud? Could be the hydraulic lifters are collapsing down if so.

Yes, very loud from afternoon on and when accelerating. Not so much when starting out in the mornings.
