Default Taking out a headlight?

I just bought a Mazda 6 2005 and one of the driving lights were out. The dealership gave me a light and I told them I would put it in myself because in the future I want to put HID's in the car. Does anyone know how to take the headlights out of this car? Thanks for your help

Default RE: Taking out a headlight?

well i believe the bumper has to come off in order to do so. i work in a body shop and deal with this problem often. there is a lip on the bottom of the light housing that the bumper "fits into". i took the 10mm's out of my headlight today to install led bulbs in the driving lights, and the light housing didnt even move soim gona wait till i get my new factoryfog light inserts and the new grill b4 i take the bumper off and install everything. good luck.
