Default steering column noise

Wondering if anyone hashad this annoying problem.....during warmer weather, the plastic on the steering column expands and the steering wheel 'creaks' when turning left or right. Something is rubbing and causingfriction, but I can't seem to find it. Let me know if anyone has a cure as the noise is a bit annoying. Thanks!

I have never had that specific problem before, but I have something ont he passenger side of my car that creaks when I turn. Id get yours checked out at least to make sure nothing is rubbing. Still under warranty?

Yes, I got the extended warranty, so I guess I'll get it checked out. Only really notice it when the weather starts to get warmer (like now). Thanks.
