Default Springs

I have a mazda 6 with a 2.3 liter and i was changing the springs out and i was wondering if u had to change the shocks or struts too please give me info

Not necessarily. You won't have an ideal spring/damper set-up, but it still works.

I've got Eibach Pro-kit springs and the stock dampers in. You may wear the stockers out faster (a small percentage faster), but I wouldn't worry about it unless you plan to auto-cross your car or something. (I've got some Mazdaspeed struts that I will install once my stockers start to feel dead....probably around 60,000 miles or so.)
