I've got a set of Eibach Prokit springs in my 3 and love them. You should also install a camber correction kit in the rear suspension to avoid excessive tire wear. (replaces the top suspension link on both sides of the rear suspension) The 3 is set with some negative camber from the factory (-1°), but with the Prokit springs installed I went to -2.3° which is right at the edge of in-spec. Tire wear will be high on the inside edge of my rear tires due to this until I can get the camber correction kit installed. I've been told that, once installed, the camber will be right back around -1°.

Ride is a little stiffer than stock, but I use this car as my daily driver (18,000 miles since last March) and it rides fine for me. (Michigan roads aren't known for being the best either.)
