Exclamation Shifting problem

Hi, I have 2004 Mazda 6s 3.0L automatic with a shifting problem. The car has no problem shifting except from 2nd to 3rd, and very rarely 4th to 5th. Now the only thing is, it only has a problem if it shifts at to high of an rpm, it jerks into the next gear and sometimes makes a sort of squeak at anything higher than 4000, however if it's around 2000 rpms on the shift, there's no effect. Also, sometimes it will skip gears, a lot of times from either 2nd to 4th or 3rd to 5th. If anyone has an idea on the problem and would get back to me, that would be great. I'm not very mechanically inclined so I have no clue.

I had just bought the car resently, so idk how many times it was done before, but I've only put 1000 miles on it. The car had passed a pre purchase inspection, but idk all of the history in the car
