Default Rebuilding Front End

Hello everybody!

I have a 2007 Mazda 6i that my wife lightly rear-ended someone with. The airbag deployed and the driver's seat belt locked (even though she wasn't wearing it). I have a few simple questions...

1. How many total sensors are involved with a front end collision?
I know the one by the hood latch, but is the other one that's on a corner of the radiator support also a crash sensor? What is the sensor located at the bottom of the b-pillar by the seatbelt?

2. Is it normal for the seatbelt to lock when not being worn during an impact?
Will replacing the crash sensor release it?

Thank you all for your help.

You will need

RHF & LHF seatbelts
Air bag or bags ( dont know how many you have )
SRS control module ( airbag computer )
Not sure on other impact sensors.
