Default Problem with interior lighting and rear dimming lights

Hello, I have a 2010 Mazda 6 with a problem with the dashboard and taillights. I searched the Mazda manual website and discovered that the problem might be with the automatic light sensor. I tried a method to disable the automatic light system, and it worked, but when I started the car again, the lights stopped working, and the method no longer works. I would appreciate any help with this problem. I now have some possibilities that I suspect might be the cause. I suspect a weak battery could be causing this problem, or perhaps the car needs reprogramming. If there are other solutions, please let me know. Thank you.

Welcome to the forum

The first thing to always do is to verify by way of a load test the current condition of the battery no matter what the current age or condition visually is.
Then check all 4 connections for clean good contact. Battery terminals and cable ground and stater.

Your issues may have to do with the BCM . So I suggest doing a complete ECU scan to see if there is any information that may suggest where to start looking.

You can try having the Mazda ECU flashed but if you need to go that far then I presume it will be a qualified service shop or Mazda dealership in which they will do the above service steps I mentioned before they do an ECU flash and update (if avalible) .

Thank you, because I tried a factory reset but the problem persists. I also agree with you that we need to consult a software technician to resolve the issue. So far, I've tried every solution I know of, and none of them worked.
