Default Interior lighting issue

I have searched the page and can’t get any closer to figuring it out and I don’t want to send my car to the dealer if I don’t have to. I have a 2010 Mazda CX-7 and I have led bulbs in all of my interior lights. The dome light bulb failed and in turn shorted out the interior light system. After this happened, when the door is closed the leds in the map lights are dimly lit and when you open the door the lights get dimmer. Also, when you push the buttons to turn on the individual lights, they act as normal. I pulled the dome light down and there was a little charring on the back of it so I decided to replace both the dome light switch and map light switch. After replacing them the lights don’t work when you open the door at all. No fuses are blown. I put a multi meter on the dome and map light plugs and all the voltages seem right and there isn’t any continuity between wires where there shouldn’t be. No fuses are blown and I don’t know where to go from here.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
