Hey guys,


I have a Mazda 6 2008, and wanted to install an Aux cable to play my media. I Previously had Sirius radio installed.


I ordered this part below and attempted to install this unit into the CD changer port:




I took everything apart and didn't break anything or misplace anything. Upon installation, I cant play any music through this AUX adaptor.


My question is, since I had to disconnect the Sirius plug from the CD changer port, do I need to do anything further to install this AUX cable? Thank you so much guys,

I'm sure you have, but I have to ask the obvious. You have the aux. button pushed so it's illuminated on the display? Tried a different device with same results?

Most companies offer a tech hotline to help resolve any issues. Might be worth a call if it's available. Too many aftermarket companies to keep up with it all.

 

May I ask how your experience turned out? I have seen a similar product on Amazon, and I wonder where we would run the wire. Where is a good place to have the end of the cable and its plug come out?
