I have my baby. She’s an 06 Mazda 6. 5 speed 2.3. Love this car. She has 219,000 miles and in the last month alone I have had to replace, first the alternator, then a new battery. New serpentine belt. Then the starter went out. Finally after $1000 +, I got her lined out. Yesterday the battery light came on and before the end of the day she was dead again. I checked my battery and alternator first. The guy who put it on for me wired it up all jacked up and caused some wires to melt together. After all was said and done, I reworded and insulated the wires again. Now that I can boost her off, she started right up but then started acting like she was gonna die. And eventually did afterb15 or so seconds. Like she wasn’t getting gas. Could my fuel pump be out now too? What else could it be? And what else is gonna happen to my old motor? What do I do?
