Default Nitrous

hey guys I'm new to the forum I have a 2006 Mazda 6 3.0 V6 and i can get a full nitrous kit off my buddy for cheap. I was thinking about running a 50 shot on stock engine. I searched but cant really find much. Any ideas? anything would help thanks again.

im probably doing this tomorrow so ANY input would help and if i would keep the stock tune while running a 50 shot or even a 75 shot. its greatly appreciated thanks

Well, considering the fact that tuning for the v6 is still in the testing stages unless you are going with a unichip that has to be tuned at a registered & certified shop, I'd have to say that this will not go well. Now, I'm not a nitrous guy, so I can't say this for certain, but it seems to me that this is a very good way to be needing a new engine real soon.

is the kit wey or dry, and is it direct port or pre-trottle body(intake) style?

it is a wet shot and pre throttle body.

pre TB nitrous sprays on the 3.0L is not safe. ****, do u have the I4(2.3L) or V6(3.0L)?

Yeah i have the v6. Every one is saying because of the way the intake manifold is set up the nitrous doesnt go to each cylinder equally and begins to pool in the manifold.

that is correct. but only partially.


the V6 intake manifold is an excellent design for what it does. it is mainly the egr system that increases the pooling and uneven flow between banks.

if you dont have the EGR mod in effect on your car your banks arent getting the same amount of airflow even if left stock.

i advise you to go direct port, or dont do it at all. you can, but if and when u blow your motor, dont say i didnt warn u.

i was also looking into direct port but i already have the whole system and have not been able to find a conversion of some sort.
