Default new to the forum, new problem

Hello all,
My girlfriend's had her car for about a year and a half now with absolutly no problems til' now.

Its an 04' Mazda6 GS sport with a 3.0L V6 5 Spd. Everything is stock as far as I can tell and we havent had any recent work done to it.

She went out to start it a week ago in the morning, (getting cold here) and she said it made a loud banging noise.. followed by the engine light.. She shut it off right away and left it til I got home. When I started it it started and idled smoothly, I put my scanner on it and it showed a misfire on cylinder 1.. Thought it might be a bad injector or coil pack..

but a few days later, it did the same thing, first start in the morning, when I got home I scanned it again but this time it was a cylinder 3 Misfire.

I wish I had saved the freeze frame data but I didnt, I do remember the idle was 1450 and the spark advance was 19 degrees (seems a bit odd?)

air flow meter maybe? im stumped..

no I erased them, theres nothing coming up now..

I start it every day or two to see if I can get it to make the noise so I know what the hell she's talking about, but it hasnt done it since..

I know the last time I drove the car it was definatly lacking in power
