And to add to what Sheldon said, it is not wise to use chemical cleaners on the throttle body, but instead a weak soap solution and a clean rag or towel. Then allow to air dry completely.
Harsh chemicals can remove the clear protective coating on the TB flap.

chemtool will not harm our cars..... i use it every 6 months .....for the past 8 yrs works great.... where are you loacted if you are in my area i'd be glad to help u fix it

While it may not harm anything over the long term (maybe); I seriously doubt it does any good either.
