Today my buddy and I were bored and we did some research on cold air intakes. We took the most expensive one-looked at the pictures and did it ourselves.
He is driving a '08 Jeep Rubicon and I a '07 6 .... After we were done and only 10min later we both noticed a deeper,nice sound from the motor and much better performance! In both cars we noticed more torque.

Anybody with knowledge of taking the air box out and has access to a dremmel tool can do this. Believe me you will notice a difference and no worries if you have a lease you can find the bottom of the air box on ebay for only $15

 

If you drilled out the bottom of the airbox, you basically just did an irreversible version of the airbox mod. and yes it will give an increase in power....but only by about 5 horses or so....maybe.

Yes it is irreversible but I think I can handle the 12 dollars plus ship and handle on ebay.... It works believe me!!!!!!!
