Mazda 6 2010 2.2 diesel
Hi I've got a Mazda 6 that's been stood still for 11 months and I've got it started when cold and it Idles fine but when it's got warm the engine goes sluggish and cuts out and won't start again until it's gone cool again, I've had a Delphi diagnostic on the car and it does not show any fault codes so if anyone has any ideas please get in touch.

What happens if you disconnect the coolant temperature sensor? Does it start? Does it continue to run once it warms up?

I've disconnect it and it will not start

 

Price up a new coolant sensor. If its cheap replace it.

 

Price up a new coolant temp sensor. If its cheap, replace it.

I've bought one and will fit it Saturday so will let you know if it works

 

fitted the new coolant sensor and it hasn't made any difference
