Hey, can anyone help with some advice on this 03 mazda 6 with a 3.0 V-6? After I purchased this car, I learned that the previous owner had gutted the cats. and now it keeps throwing cat efficiency codes left and right banks #421 & 431.is there any way to cheat around this? What are the guys doing that have changed to the stainless steel headers doing to get around this? If no way around it, does anybody know anyone with a good used set of exhaust manifolds for sale?

First rule of the internet, never post personal information in a public forum, if I were you I'd edit that post and remove the # and possibly the e-mail.

As for cheats for the CAT thing, you can relocate the O2 sensors and place them in back of the main cat, or you can get some O2 sims. Either should work just fine.

 

I would go with Cam on this one.... easiest most cost effective solution are the 02 sims... thats what the guys with headers run....
