Default Mazda 6 air con won't go below 15 degrees?

I have a 2006 Mazda 6 UK model and my air con will not go below 15 degrees centigrade. No with all the will in the world 15 degrees is not exactly cold, in fact it's quite barmy, so why is this the lowest setting available????

Is there any way to lower this as my air con is practically useless as their air coming out is always warm.

Either the air is on off. Some systems have 2 choices "MAX A/C" or "A/C". You may only have 1 choice. Turning it down lower will not make the air conditioner work colder, it's either on or off. There are not varying levels of cooling when you set temp, it just stops cooling at that temp. If you are having problems get it professionally checked out. It may require a new dryer, re-charge or something. Maybe you have a leak. Maybe your condenser is clogged. Maybe you can spend $$$$ and get it upgraded to a bigger one.
