Mazda 6 2007 Gas Mileage
I have a 2005 Mazda 6 with the 4 cylinder and MT. I regularly get over 500 miles per tank. On my last tank I wanted to see how many miles I could get driving conservatively (no shifts higher than 2000 and highway speeds limited to 60 mph) and I got to 592 miles and required 15.8 gal to fill back up (that's 37.4 mpg). That was a mix of highway and city (really suburban) driving.
2007 S Wagon v6, highway 24-25. best i was able to manage 26 mpg. would have been nice to have the 3.5 (265 hp) from the ford edge (still manages about 24) in the the 6. its a shame there wont be a new 6 wagon v6 for u.s.
i have an 05' 6i w/sport pckg and i get on avg. about 27-28mpg which translates to about 400 miles a tank which is not bad for a 3 year old car that is SUPPOSED to be gettin 23/city &28/hwy!!! [sm=happy046.gif]

hello - new here - actually you should get better gas milage in a 6 cyl then a 4 cyl - your engine isnt working as hard and the rpm are lower -yes/no??
my mazda 6 wagon 2005 - get 750km/tank - highway driving
i recently had a dodge caliber cvt transmission (biggest peice of crap in the world) - and because of the cvt - the rpms are soooo high and it eats a lot of gas - 350km /tank (supposed to be 500) - i found with a v6 engine (manual) and 20$ more gas then the caliber i have doubled my km per tank and i drive hard - so i think the 4 cyl myth on better on gas is BS . and hey the wagon is a heavy car to sooo.......
