Default lubricant leak

my 2006 Mazda6i sport with only 2300 miles

is leaking a clear-ish oil. to be sure it wasnt engine oil i put a dab from the dipstick next to it (on my garage floor). and it looked nothing like it

took it to the dealer today. they said it could be trasmission fluid. (MTX has trannyfluid?!)

SOOO FRUSTRATED. anyone hav similar issues?

Default RE: lubricant leak

All transmissions (Manual or Auto) have fluid in them. Otherwise there would be nothing to lubricate the gears inside.

I haven't had any issues with either of my Mazdas. With only 2300 miles on it, didn't the dealer fix the issue?

took it to the dealer (Open Road Mazda, had very nice service i might add)

they raised the car and found the leak. it was transmission fluid. and leaking due to a loose "reverse light sensor", which is mounted on the side of the fluid basin.
tightened it. no leaks anymore
