Default Key issue

Hi I have a issue with my Mazda 6. My keyfob is not working. I have to open the door manually. Car is
not starting. I thought at first it was battery then I have changed the battery and it doesn’t work. Start button never shows any green light. I tried to start it by pushing the back side of the key it still doesn’t work. It is like every time if I have to start the car I have to jump start the battery first. What might be the problem? Need suggestions

check that the key fob is not in sleep mode (if in sleep mode it doesn’t automatically transmit signals intended for those with advance keyless entry) there are videos in YT to show how to program your remote key fob from and to sleep mode. It was also meant to conserve battery on key fobs especially when not in use for long periods
