Alright were do i start. Well i traded in my daily driver zx2 for a 2004 mazda 6, which i like alot. Everything is perfect and clean carfax. Yet i found out the other day in the drivers side and passager side window for the rear seats. There is rust forming there on the weather stripping on the outside. I brought it to my mazda dealership since i beleive all mazdas came with a 5 year/unlimtied miles correct? They came back and told me they would have to get back to me based on they have to talk to the district manger since this is a rare case. Have you guys heard of this and could i be deninded. Its happening on both sides of the car in the same spots so its not a rock chip or anything. Am i off on the warranty. It is a 2004 so i have 2 years left.

All Mazda's don't come with a 5 year/unlimited mile warranty. I have a 2006, and my warranty is only good for 4 years/50,000 miles I believe.

 

4 year/50K last time I checked. (No one does unlimited mileage warranties.)

 

I too have an '04, and the warranty is definitely 4yrs/50k miles, whichever comes first. Let us know what the dealer tells you. Cheers,

Check your owner's manual, if you have one, for warranties. You can also call Madza USA. Just don't let the dealer B.S. you.

 

06 and 07 mazdas come with a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty. 03-05 comes with a 4 year 50,000 mile warranty. corrosion is covered for 5 years unlimited miles.

 

i bought my 06 used a fewweeks ago and itstill has 4 yrsOR 50K left on the existing factory warrenty. says it clear as day in my paperwork for the car.

 

Mine is a 2006 andI just checked...it's covered for 4 years/50,000 miles.
