Hi all...I am new to this forum but see that there is tons of helpful information and resources here.
I was wondering of you guys can help me with this

I have a 6s hatchback v6 sporttronic transmission. When I am in 3rd gear and step on the gas it seems to jerk a little. Even when I step on the gas a bit it jerks. This does not happen all the time but there are instances when I does happen. There was one time when I was on the highway going in 5th when I stepped on the gas and it did jerk while stepping down to 4th.

Anyone experience this before.

There is a TSB I beleive for this. I am not exactly sure. At the top of this page click the link that says TSBs. You may find a fix for it in that...

 

one such way to fix that issue is getting your computer reflashed at the dealership... i have done that and it smoothed out my ride greatly.

another way to really help that shift without that jerk is to buy new engine mounts. they make sure your engine has very little jerk when you romp on the gas.
