Hi All
i have a mazda 6 2020 2.5 litre tubor , the car currently has 13,000 km on it. i have change the oil at 10,000 km and i have reset the oil change light.
it was all find, until last week. the oil change light came back on. its was about 3000 km since i have change the oil and reset the light.
i have try to reset the light a few time. but its keep on come back on. done anyone how i could reset the warming light????

How are you trying to reset it?

 

i go to the infotainment, select application. in application menu i select maintenance. then to oil change and i select reset. but the oil change light would not turn off.
the first time i change the oil was at 10000 km and i manage to reset the oil change light. at about 12000km the oil change light came back on. and the oil change light would not turn off even if i reset it in the infotainment maintenance section.

please help.

 

i also notice that i over fill my oil by about 3mm over the full level. i wonder if that has and effect on the oil change light???

You need to also reset the oil data via the instrument cluster
