I’ve recently started to do service on my Mazda 6 2,2d 2013 myself. I recently did a oil+filter change but I can’t seem to reset the ”oil change due” light. There was no problem clearing the scheduled maintance light.

I called my local Mazda Dealer and they said they have to clear the oil data with tool. They would charge me 800sek (around 80$) for clearing the light.

Is there no way to do this myself? Can I buy a simple obd2 tool to clear this light?

Very unlikely you can get a simple scan tool than can reset service lights / oil data for less than $80.
