Default How can something so simply be so difficult!

A while back I noticed that my license plate lights were not coming on when i turned my headlights and taillights on. I read through the handbook and it says that they should come on when i turn the dial on both the parking break and headlight settings, but they werent. I checked the fuse because i thought both of them not working must be a fuse, but then the fuse (#31) is connected to the tail, parking and license lights. So i figured its the bulbs so I ordered some off ebay, LED ones and they turned out to be the wrong fit. Have any of you put LED's in and where did you get them. I have a 2005 6i sport 5-door hatch (not wagon).

Thanks guys!

This has to be some kind of record for delay in answer to forum question. Ok, I have replaced several license plate bulbs with LEDs. They work great! The leo's in this area love to pull the innocent over for expired license plate lights. I know it is bs but even on my motorcycles the bulbs were changed out for LED bulbs. You can find just about anything that you want from Superbright leds.com. Depending on the bulb you may even get lucky at AutoZone or someone like that too. Good luck, they are out there.
