High Pressure Fuel Pump

Hi everyone,

Anyone had any issues with their Diesel High Pressure Fuel Pump?
I have a Mazda6 2013 and without warning just stopped, Mazda now wants $11,500.00 to replace.
Is this a common problem?

are they hard to replace and are they timmed mines mazda 6 2008 2 litre sounds like bearings going in side
