I asked my dealer about the carplay. But he said he never heard about the news that we are able to update the system to get carplay. Does anyone have some concrete clue about this?

 

The update has not been released yet. If you bought a 2018 Mazda 6 it will be a free upgrade by your dealer when released. ATM it looks like September. Stay on top of your dealer and educate them if necessary so that they have the items needed when available.

 

FYI, Car Play has now been released for all 2018+ Mazda 6. If you have one, contact your dealer and it will be installed at no charge.
