Hello,

I've searched everywhere but couldn't find anyone with a similar problem. So i'm created this thread to seek your opinions on my problem.

I have a Mazda 6 2010, and this is how it started:

1) The handbreak push button broke in half one day, but the handbreak was still working...

2) After a few months the button finally fell-off and the handbreak stopped working. I ccould stick my thumb in and touch the spring inside de break's stick.

I went to the dealership but they quoted $200 USD for the fix.. ja
So, i'm here searching for a cheaper DIY option, any ideas?
