Default Bad Clutch?

I just picked up a Mazda 6 with a bad clutch. I can drive it without the clutch working and it runs great. I think it will be great car if I can get this problem fixed.

The clutch doesn't slip, it just won't disengage. Occasionally, the pedal will stay on the floor. I immediately thought the master or slave cylinder were shot. It does actuate but I'm not sure if it's moving enough. It moves a little more than the thickness of the clutch fork, maybe 1/2".

Can anyone verify if this is correct? Seems like it should be more.

Peel back the rubber boot on the slave cylinder, is there any fluid leak? Is there any sign of leakage from the Master cylinder, either in the engine bay or above the clutch pedal?
