Hello everyone!

I wish I get some help to my automatic transmission problem. Transmission works fine except fifth gear does not connect on, so in highway it goes only with fourth gear. Anyone else has got this problem and how to fix it? Car is Mazda 6 year 2003 with 2 liter engine.

 

Are you sure your 2003 has 5 gears? I thought the 5speed didn't arrive until the 2005 facelift.

 

Tachometer is around 3200 if speed is 90 kilometers per hour, so I think there is fifth gear because transmission adjustment would be a bit crazy

 

You are right, I did check! Four gears but how the adjustment is so crazy that rounds per minutes are so high in so low speed? Is there anything to do with that?
