Question Advice re: Newer model vs lower kms!

Hi,

I have the option between these used vehicles:

a) Mazda 6 2006 - 2.0 ltr - 105,000 kms, full service history, tiptronic automatic

b) Mazda 6 2005 - 2.0 ltr - 75,000kms, full service history, tiptronic automatic

Middle-east (UAE) versions. Price is nearly same.

I can't seem to find information on what differences there were between the 2005 and 2006 versions? There's also the thing about resale value - mazdas don't resell that well in this part of the world, compared to Toyotas/Nissans/etc.

I have yet to see option b) but I checked out option a) and it feels like a new car, great feel...

Any advice is appreciated!

There weren't any major changes between those two years in the North American or Euro versions, so I'd guess that would hold true for the UAE version.

If both cars are similarly equipped, I'd say go for the 05! They worked out most of the kinks by 05, and 65K miles in three years is a lot of miles. I'd say the 46K mile version is a much better deal.
