I think you and me might have the same problem :

I didnt have the links to the pics that were provided by Noggin, I need to give that a try.

Posted in wrong place...

Age & dry-riot...the lease pig-tail broke off the wiring harness that clips into the Ignition Coil. See my pic, I found a way to rig-it to stay but I am not fund of it. I went to the Mazda dealer and they told me cannot buy the pig-tail only it comes as a whole wiring harness...

Any better solutions that what I have don't to fix this?

Get one from Junk Yard. Solder it with shrink tube.

Thx for all the help....I must have had a bad ignition coil but which one I do not know. I got all 6 OEM off Amazon for $89 and been days now car runs smooth...

I did order the pigtails online for $18 each so one day I will cut the wires and connect the new ends...as of now they are nicely and cleanly wrapped with black electrical tape that you cannot notice it...

Thx all!

Great stuff. Black elec tape will expand and come loose with the heat.
Nice find with pigtails.
You saved a lot of money if you did it yourself!
