Ok,I am here for my girlfriend.She has the Mazda 6. Its the 4 door model with the 6 cylinder engine.Its a 2004. Unfortunately,the car has been a nightmare for her. Now she needs rear brakes.She just called me this morning. Are the rear brakes disc brakes or drum brakes? Does anyone know where I can pick up some cheap rotors and pads. I'd ask my girlfriend what kind of brakes they are,but she has no clue.Thanks for your help.

 

They're 4-wheel disc brakes, call up Autozone or Murray's, they most likely carry an off-brand that will work just fine.

 

Should be easy as well...if you will be doing work for her get the mechanics manual for the 6. I got it for 5 bucks on ebay! Good investment!
