Default 2003 Mazda 6 s 3.0ltr

I have a 03 Mazda 6 s.

And I have a problem with my blend door actuator and I am curious if there is more than one, and if there are any video or documents available to help me do this repair myself.

I am familiar with some cars having the blend door actuator behind the glove box but I am having a difficult time getting information on this particular part for this car.

Whats the problem?

There is 1 actuator that controls the air flaps for screen face & feet.
Another actuator controls the blending for hot & cold air.
And another for fresh air vs recirculated air

Basically I get cold air, and I get strong air from the center vent, but on either side of the car very little to no air comes out of the very far side vents (vent by driver door and pass door)

The speed of the blower does change with the settings so I know the blower motor and resistor is fine.

And I get cold and heat just fine.

Just the airflow out of the vents is mostly on the center 3 vents and you can barley feel the air from the outside vents

There is not control for the outer vents, apart from the flaps you can open & close manually with your fingers.

Is your pollen filter clean?

pollen filter? like the cabin air filter? or the air filter?

the answer to both is yes, both replaced myself at the time of your reply, and there is no change in the airflow to the side vents

he cabin filter was dirty, i changed both anyway even though the other filter didnt need it, and the strength on the center vents did improve a little bit, but vary marginally.

what could be preventing the air to flow into the side vents then?

You can try removing the glovebox and try and follow the venting between the outer air vent and the heater box to see if there are any leaks.

Apart from that, I can't offer any other ideas over the internet.
