While replacing the alternator on a 2003 Mazda 6 with a 2.3 liter, the wires going into the two wire clip on the alternator where accidentally pulled out and I need to know which wire goes to which side. There is a yellow wire with a red stripe and there is a green wire. Which wire goes closest to the battery post on the alternator? I have been unable to locate a repair manual for the vehicle and no salvage yards in the area have a similar vehicle. Thanks for any help.
