17' wheels on Mazda6 sedan 2003
Hello. I have an Mazda6 sedan 2003 and I want to put bigger wheels because now I have on 15'. The new wheels are from DareMotorsport (U.K) and are on 17'. I will put a picture to see if you like it. Now the problem is that I don't know if I put 225/45/17 tyres if it will fit well. I used tyre calculators but I can't know for sure and is safer to ask you. Thanks.

225/45R17 tires fit fine on the 17x7 (or 17x7.5) rim. I have exactly that setup using stock 17x7 Mazda6 wheels on my Mazda3. Your speedometer may be a bit off, but only maybe 2-3 mph @ 100 (2-3%)
Double-check the offset of the wheel. Stock offset for the 17x7 is 60mm.

Yes the new wheels are 17x7 but wasn't sure if the tyres will fit. I don't know the offset because that guys don't specify this but they said that will fit very well my car. Thanks a lot. [sm=burnout.gif]

Whats the offset? Stock Offset is +55(Maybe +60 but I dont think so?). Its recommended that you go no lower than +42. You NEED to find out the offset. A lot of the time shops dont know **** and they jus wanna sell you something.

Not saying it isnt +60...I thought I had just recalled it being +55 but you are probably right. And with most aftermarket wheels 17" or bigger you will prolyl have to roll your fenders...But you can never tell till you actually have them on.
