the dealer i bought mine from said that the cash for clunkers wasnt even valid to be used towards the 09 mazda 6, so idk, they only gave me 1000 for my trade in

Sure it is. Sorry you got screwed on the trade but hey, just enjoy the new ride - and you still got a good deal on it.
