I just purchased a 2009 Mazda 6 with the 3.7L and I'm going to try replacing the rack and pinion myself. Any detailed instructions on the job? Any tips or trips to make replacement smoother? I'm reading some other posts about having to drop the subframe, any way around having to do that? Thanks for any help.
