Hi, just wondering for all those own a 2009 or later 6 have any issues with their car theft deterrence system going off randomly...

on several occasions, and out of the blue, my car starts to honk and lights flash..it's happended at various times, middle of the day, the other night at 1am..it doesn't turn off until i use the FOB and hit either the open or close button.....

a buddy of mine had a 3 and his keyless entry was tweaking out, sometimes he would unlock his door and when he did, the alarm would go off (factory alarm) or he would place the key in the ignition and the alarm would go off and car would not start..he remedied by clicking the open/close door. he took it to the dealer and apparently, they had a "lo jack" type device on it. They don't remove it when the car is sold,but they disable it..and it causes the problem.

I don't have the same symptoms as my alarm will just go off on it's own accord.
