Howdy y’all!
I have a 2006 Mazda 5 that I’ve been driving all over the place! Love it!
When I first bought the car used, none of the power windows worked. After fiddling with the fuses, all the windows started to work again and have been fine for about a year. Now, both back windows have stopped working, the passengers side works fine, and the drivers side will only go up part way.
the fuses are fine and on the back windows I can hear the relay working so I know they are getting power.
anyone else have a similar problem?
i’m trying to avoid pulling all the door panels off to check for corrosion issues.
I really have been digging this car. Many happy miles even on roads that a mini-minivan hot rod shouldn’t be on and it’s always pulled through.
hope y’all are well!

I have a 2012. Two of the windows were not working when I bought it. The front driver side would go partway up and then stop but I can still hear the window motor running. I could help it along by pulling the window up and then it would close all the way up.
It was a broken gear inside the window motor - a $2 part from ebay.
Then you can watch vids from youtube on how to remove the door panel, and another video for Mazda window gear replacement.
