Default Warped discs at 26K miles

I'm wondering if anyone has had any problems with discs warping early in the Mazda5. We bought ours with 9K miles and now at 26K it has a pretty good shudder when applying the brakes, especially going downhill at a good clip.

I have not actually checked for warping yet. It seems to be a classic symptom, so I'm wondering two things actually:

1) Has anyone had warped discs so early?

2) Does anyone have this shuddering problem and found something else wrong?

It's a 2007 model. The 17" wheels. Original tires. Located in the Bay Area of California. Mostly town/city driving shuttling the kids around. I'm a tinkerer of older cars and know brakes pretty well. A friend had a Mazda years ago that had problems with warped discs. He had them turned several times and it didn't help the problem (but he was a Swiss mechanical engineer and was very **** about noises coming from the car).

Thanks,

Yes, we bought our Mazda5 new in June of 2006, 2006 model, and now at 22,000 miles the disks are warped, when you brake our 5 you can actually feel the steering wheel shake and see the steering wheel shake, also you can feel the car shake if your in the driver or front passenger seats. We drive the car mostly city/town driving also with a little highway driving.

506 - Did you get the discs turned (cut down)? If so, did it solve it and has it lasted? As I mentioned, a friend had a Mazda and turning the discs solved it for a while and it returned.

Also, if you turned them, did you have them turned on the car or did you have them removed from the car to turn them?

Thanks,
