Default UK owners! Headlights in mainland Europe.

Is there a way of getting rid of the headlight beam's 15 degree incline to the left when going to mainland Europe? I'm soon going to the UK with my "mainland Europe" model so I'm faced with this issue (except mine have a 15 degree incline to the right which would upset a lot of British motorists I guess)

Probably only a change in the projector will do that... but that"s only an educatedguess on my part.
The bulb, halogen I assume, will remain the same, so the only thing controlling it"s cut-off would be the lens in the projector itself.

You can normally buy a sticker to put on the headlamp to stop the beam going into the oncoming traffic, well thats what I've done when going from UK to Mainland Europe

Hmmm? And interesting tid-bit.
I hadn"t heard of that before, but if it works and is legal, why not. It"s got to be a heck of a lot cheaper than replacing the headlamp assems.
Where cankakraemer get one of these stickers, S1?

I spoke with the dealer. They told me they used to have a sticker but it's discontinued. I will have to maskthem off my self with the "try and error" method. The also told me that the Mazda 3, probably not in US trim though, has a lever inside the headlight for this purpose. When switched over, the 15 degree incline is removed. It was the same on my '98 Opel/Vauxhall Omega (Cadillac Catera). Unfortunately they haven't spent the extra money for this on the 5.
