Vehicle:- 2006 TS2 2.0 ltr Diesel, 6spd Manual, mileage 19,000
Pictures show air intercooler? from front (left bumper) and rear (inner wheel arch shroud removed). About 1/4 of fins are blocked.




How do you clean without damaging fins.
Can you get them refurbished.

Any useful suggestions please to return to max efficiency.

Am I just unlucky or is this how all similar 5s are?

It looks just like road dirt thrown up from the wheel. Try hosing it from the front to see if you can clear it.

 

I would use some toothpicks.
