Alright I have a 1983 Rx7 and I am about to swap out the stock 12a with a 86-88 JDM 13b turbo motor. I am wondering if it would be better if i installed a front mount intercooler. Yes or no? Will it a be a easy install? Also what other parts will i need? Like do I have to get a different intake manifold, since the factory one it comes with has the stock intercooler on top? Open for all opinions, let me know please what you think.

You do not need to change the intake manifold. Are there any perf shops in your area? Best thing to do would be to take the car to them & have them see if the front mount is a lot of work.
