Default Tire Recommendations

It is time to replace the tires on my wife's Mazda 5. A neighbor who works at a tire wholesaler suiggested a TOYO Proxes 4. I was interested in hearing from others about how happy they are with the tires on their 5s.

I want to make sure she has good "stickiness" in snow and rain.

Thanks to all for your input!

John

Check Tire Rack - Your performance experts for tires and wheels and read the reviews. I really like Michelin Harmony tires on my minivan. I go with BF Goodrich Traction T/A on the Protege. But I did not select for snow traction only. Quietness and overall performance were most important to me.

Had those Toyo's on my Alero. Good traction but poor tread life burned the fronts off very fast.
If you live somewhere the temp is below 10c-50f daily you should just buy snow tires for the best traction in wet and snow.
