Isthe removable roof rack for the mazda 5 adjustable? By adjustable I mean does it slide in and out? I'd like to know before I buy one. Thanks in advance.

I believe the fore and aft rails to be adjustable, but not having one myself (DOH~!) i can only speculate, and draw from photos of it on the net and note that there appear to be adjustment ***** on them.

Default RE: roof rack question

I bought a rack (I believe it to be made by Thule - made in Sweden) for my 08. The towers are stationary, bolting into the spots designed for best cargo distribution, I suppose. Check out the photo in the pics thread. It looked like Yakima had a rack on their website to fit, but I couldn't tell whether it used the factory mounting points or not. If it doesn't, then that rack may be able to move fore and aft; although, the 5 doesn't really have rain gutters. I'm not sure how it would be secured.
