Default pouring washer fluid hint

Hope this little tid bit of info is useful. I noticed that on the Mazda 5 and probably other Mazdas. That when refilling the washer fluid, the cap is connected with a long straw like tube.We all hate spilling washer fluid needlessly, especially when it's a fresh bottle. So......pour it right on the tube.....the fluid will follow the easiest path. Something I learned from a grade 7 science project a friend of mine did. Sure enough, it works like a charm. Minimizes spillage and waste!!

Hope this gets used!

or you could just use a funnel....

but i find the best way to pour washer fluid is from the side of the bottle
i.e. put the bottle on its side when pouring, that way you can get closer to the tube with a fresh bottle, without spilling it

I usually pour sidewards! I think that the person who designed this must have failed their design tech project. I cannot believe that Mazda let it get into the final design. It would not take much to make the whole opening thing more like to one on the Mazda 6 that is so easy to fill!
